Sandman Vs. the Hulk
Fans have been wondering when of if we were going to get a version of the Grey Hulk in the movies. He certainly has been evolving - first becoming far more verbose after Being in Hulk form for two years in Thor: Ragnorok, and then refusing to emerge after a Thanos butt-whuppin' in Avengers Infinity War. Promotional images of the next Avengers film indicate that we may be getting a different kind of hulk the next time around - but not Mr. Fixit or the early Grey version. To me it looks as though they are heading towards the Professor Hulk of Peter David's run, with full un-torn uniform and Banner's intellect intact. It will be interesting to see exactly where they are going and how they handle it.
That title though! You've truly outdone yourself Ross! #GoodPunYesCookie

Love that title! Easily your best ever.
ReplyDelete1) What Marc Ohare said.
ReplyDelete2) Maybe the next Hulk sequel will debut Jarella and the world of Kai.
The "puny Dodds" pun is pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Can you explain the joke?
DeleteWhile I always enjoy your pun titles, Ross, this is one of those rare instances where I get the giggles.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're not the only person who sees the promotional Hulk for Avengers 4. I've seen at least two vloggers on YouTube saying the same thing. If that does happen, though, I suspect that it'll be quite a while before we get to see Grey Hulk on the large or small screen -- it might even require a full reboot.
Haha I couldn't help myself
ReplyDeletewesley dodds is sandman if you watched star trek next generation a character wesley crusher is a member
ReplyDelete@Anonymous #2: It's a reference to Hulk's "puny god" line while slamming Loki around in the first Avengers film. BTW, Sandman's Walter ego was Wesley Dodd in his first appearance; I don't know when or why the S was added.
ReplyDelete@BB: Probably so no one will confuse him with Elwood P. Dodd of "Harvey" fame.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the "puny Dodds"pun once it was pointed out . Even betterer than before .
ReplyDeleteRoss... now I want to see Wesley Crusher & the Legion of Super-Heroes. Of if you're in the crowd that hates him, Wesley & the Legion of Substitute Heroes ;)
