I really hope that DC can get the
Green Lantern Corps movie up and running. Like
Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel, it could be a great way to open up the DC Universe. A movie about space cops with members from thousands of races is can't help but do so. They could get caught up in the Rann-Thanagar War, deal with a threat from Mongul's Warworld, or investigate what happened to Mars' once thriving civilization... the possibilities are endless.
Jack of Hearts met Green lantern Hal Jordan in
STF #587...
The only thing that can beat a Jack of Hearts is...the Queen of Spades!*
ReplyDelete*The one from the original Royal Flush Gang was an absolute hottie!!
Another good pairing!
ReplyDeleteBeen remembering Mister Mind recently and want to suggest pairing him with Doctor Doom, Super Villain Team-Up style
@Carycomic: you mean, the Queen of Clubs. That was the suit chosen by Amos Fortune when he formed the original RFG back in the Silver Age: clubs!
ReplyDeleteOne of the covers of the forgotten Jack of Hearts mini-series. I hated how it ended on sort of a cliff hanger (in the sense of him becoming so powerful) and then it is never explained what happen to his increased powers when he returned years later in the Quasar series.
ReplyDeleteI would love 2 see another Green Lantern movie too, but i gave no faith in DC/Warners ability to do it right. Every film except for Wonder Woman has been a huge disappointment. For example, how can you screw up Suicide Squad?!? A concept that can't miss!! And yet they managed to do just that.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: I know. But, Ross already had JOH meet up with the Club incarnation!
ReplyDeleteAnytime one gets to see a Jack of Hearts cover is always a wonderful thing!!
