Space: 1999 and Rocket Raccoon


Considering this issue's number, I couldn't resist...  and speaking of which, that means tomorrow is Issue #2000!

Regular visitors know that for anniversary issues, I present a "100-Page Giant" comic.  Often I will receive kind comments along the lines of, "I wish this was a real comic, I'd love to read it." Well, tomorrow, the comic really will be 100 pages, and you will actually see all of the scenes on the cover play themselves out.  So, set some time aside and come back for...

    The perfect team-up for issue 1999!
    The one team-up I would love to see is a Batman-The Thing team-up featuring The Mole Man and Killer Croc. Batman and The Thing are probably my favorite team-ups from the blog. And pretty much any team-up featuring the Teen Titans...

    Before even seeing tomorrow's issue, I shall dub the day Wonder Wednesday.

    Also I'm hoping to see the following 17 issues recognize their corresponding years (well, at least one of them, not much caring which one).

    And even though it's a year and a half away, I'm already anticipating #2500!

    RIP Landau. Never watched 1999, but I watched a lot of Mission Impossible.

    Great to see Space 1999 represented here. I remember it fondly, though for me it was outclassed by the Anderson's U.F.O.

    AS FOR STF 2000, I'd love to see the ultimate team up, Betty and Veronica and Lois Lane and Lana Lang. With B & V going after Supes, and L & L trying to rob the cradle and get Archie.

    You did already know that DC & Archie are officially releasing a Betty & Veronica / Harley & Ivy team-up very shortly, right?
