Marvel has released a promotional teaser featuring a close up of Ben Grimm's waist insignia, but it has a "2" instead of a "4". Some have guessed that this means a return of the title
Marvel Two-In-One, which I would love, but I have another guess. I am thinking that Ben and Johnny will be joining up again, presumably to search for a missing Reed and Sue, leading to the eventual return of the
Fantastic Four comic.
Cyborg first met Johnny Storm when he joined the FF back in
STF #75...
Coming Tomorrow: Super-Team Family #1900!
I wonder how that will work out if FOX is still trying to make Fantastic Four films. The latest on that I saw is that they will shift to Franklin and Valeria, to draw in the younger audience.
ReplyDeleteAfter the disappointing reboot movie, I will most likely be boycotting any fourth attempt at a half-way decent FF flick.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I wonder why Ivo would go after Cyborg via the Torch. The not-so-good professor has a hate Jones only for the Justice League! Does this mean the Cyborg in STF #75 recruited from there, rather than the Teen Titans?
Who is Ivo?
ReplyDeleteProfessor Ivo is one of the earliest enemies of the Justice League of America. He created the android Amazo to absorb the JLA's powers.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia article on Ivo
You guessed correctly as Marvel is bringing back Marvel Two-in-One as part of their Marvel Legacy relaunch and the first issue will have both the Thing and Human Torch teaming up, which will be the closest thing to a new Fantastic Four comic.
ReplyDelete@AirDave, Fox doesn't have the film rights to Fantastic Four. Constantin Film has them and Fox only releases the films, though it doesn't help that they micromanaged Fant4stic.
Damn fine smooth cover there Ross. It'a beaut!
