I love that we live in a time where going to the movies and seeing characters like Brother Voodoo or Deadman on the big screen is a real possibility.
Justice League Dark is being prepped and promises to bring Boston Brand to life (well, afterlife). Jericho Drumm's brother was featured in
Doctor Strange, setting up a Brother Voodoo appearance in a sequel hopefully. It really does feel like the sky is the limit as far as which comic character will make the cinematic leap next.

Thanks so much for this! Big fan of both these buys, but especially the original Brother Voodoo! Nice pairing. Jeff O
ReplyDeleteDamn. Now this I LIKE! And such a natural pairing I feel bad for not thinking of it myself.
ReplyDeleteI feel equally silly for asking where and when was Brother Voodoo's brother mentioned in the movie?
He's the one in the Sanctum Sanctorum before Strange shows up - there's more in the extra scenes.
ReplyDeleteNot only is this a natural pairing as Dale Bagwell point out, but their reason for teaming up makes perfect sense as well.... Now if we could finally see that fabled team-up between Brother Voodoo and Brother Power the Geek!
ReplyDeleteHow about a team-up between 'Baby Voodoo' (from Fred Hembeck's works) and 'Cheeks, the Toy Wonder'?

Or, better yet, the modern Dr. Voodoo (Marvel) and the Golden Age Dr. Voodoo (Fawcett) vs. their super-villainous namesake from Better Comics?
ReplyDeleteThis article, it was really informative. Thanks for sharing..
