I enjoy reading about The Shining Knight in the way that I enjoy some of my favorite Captain America stories. The whole "man out of time" concept is always an interesting plot device and works even better with Sir Justin. I'm a big fan of The Seven Soldiers of Victory and All-Star Squadron as well, so wherever he shows up is usually a treat for me.
And a very happy birthday to Prince Valiant, 80 years of publication this week.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a He-man and Thor cover.
ReplyDeleteAsgard vs Eternia a clash of realms.

One word: LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it'd be a really, really good and funny read. And of course it has to be written and drawn by Alan Davis.
ReplyDeleteRegards, I have seen your incredible portraits of characters on the front pages of Super Team Family, it would be interesting to see one with the Cartoon Network characters compatible with DC Comics characters, such as Doom Patrol, Justicie League, Outsiders or characters like Ametyst, princess of Gemworld for example, with characters like Ed, Edd and Eddy, Regular Show, Steven Universe (which would be interesting to see with Superman, or Teen Titans, and even Ametyst, Princess of Gemworld. In the future, especially with the last series I mentioned.

ReplyDeleteHow about Vixen with either Millie the Model or Patsy Walker?

How about this for inter-era crossovers: Jonah Hex, Sgt. Rock, Shining Knight meet Two Gun Kid, Col. Fury, and Black Knight. Things like this intrigue me, not unlike the novel some years ago pairing the X-Men with the Next Generation crew of the Enterprise or the comic book in which the original cast of Star Trek characters met the X-Men. I would love to see more things like that. I have said many times, Ross, that I think that the powers that be at Marvel and DC should put their heads together and write some of these stories that you come up with. There would be some good reading for all of us fans.
ReplyDeleteHow about Wonder Woman '77 meets James Bond 007 in Las Vegas vs. the Royal Flush Gang?
ReplyDeleteYou could even call it "Jackpot of Jeopardy!"
ReplyDeleteAs long as people are making suggestions, have you ever considered a team of scientist superheroes such as Reed Richards, Barry Allen, Ray Palmer, Ted Knight, Bruce Banner, Dr. Solar, etc etc.?
ReplyDelete@Unknown: Ross could call it "Meeting of the Super-Minds!"
ReplyDeleteWith maybe even a cameo guest-appearance by the Golden Age Prof. Supermind (and/or Son).
ReplyDeleteIt's happening. I would have not thought it possible.
