X-Men Apocalypse included all of the founding members of the team, except for Iceman. I can understand the decision, as the cinematic version of Bobby Drake is so much younger than the other team members and it would just be a little kid in the 80's. I hope for the next 1990's set film they find a way to include him... maybe even a glimpse at his early "snowman" appearance!
I'll bet I know what that "secret mission" is; Prof. X thinks Jericho would be better off learning from other mutant teenagers.
ReplyDeleteI think Cary nailed it. It certainly would make for an interesting story line!
ReplyDeleteNice concept, Ross!
I think that the secret mission is that Professor X heard that Changling has a really great egg salad recipe, and he wants Iceman to freeze a sample and bring it back to him....
ReplyDelete@Sonofjack: For what reason? So he can fix himself an "X-salad" sandwich?
ReplyDeleteSonofjack and Anonymous - HA! That is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the next X-Men film will be the start of maybe another trilogy reboot? Can they really jump ahead to the '90's? The first film came out around 2000. Wouldn't they be better off coming back into the present? Or maybe shortening the timeline to keep the McAvoy era going?
