Jena Malone's rumored role as Barbara Gordon may have been cut out of the upcoming
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it's nice to know that seeds for the extended Bat-family have been sown in the DC Extended Universe. Sure, the Robin of that movie is dead, but there's no reason there will not be another that came before or after that tragic event. Perhaps the next solo Batman movie won't be so solo after all.
I remember during the Doppleganger Campaign, of Marvel's "Infinity War," that Moon Knight did some dimension-hopping that resulted in his meeting an analog of the 1966 ABC-TV Dynamic Duo! If that also served as your inspiration, I commend you on your impeccable background research.
ReplyDeleteAnd in the Amalgam universe, didn't they merge Moon Knight with Nightwing as a sidekick to 'Bruce Wayne, Agent of SHIELD'?
ReplyDeleteAnother great idea...
ReplyDelete@Simreeve: Yes; he was called "Moonwing". ^_^
ReplyDeleteLove the cover, hated the BvS spoiler.
ReplyDelete@ My namesake: Then, you shouldn't have read it, at all!
ReplyDeleteDidnt't know I was going to be reading one. #NoWarning

ReplyDeleteEnglish translation: them's the risks you take. But, at least, now you won't have to remember having come out the movie theater disappointed after learning the same fact, the hard way, for seven-to-ten buck$!
