The one thing we know about DC's plan to bring back Green Lantern on the big screen is that he will appear in a movie titled
Green Lantern Corps. That's a good sign though, because it clears the way for other Earthbound GL's to appear in addition to Hal Jordan (who deserves another chance). Let's hope that the always awesome Chaselon gets more screen time too. I can't get enough of that mohawked sentient diamond.
Theoretically, she may have killed a Green Lantern or thousand when she consumed that star and destroyed a solar system. This was a natural. Great job!
ReplyDeleteNow this, THIS, would be a hell of a fight. Considering DP's ridiculous power levels, I could see this battle being so epic and intense, that the Guardians may be forced into becoming directly involved.
ReplyDeleteI'd even go so far as to suggest things getting so dire that a call would go out for the other colored corps to show up and help.
Dale's right. I can see the premise, now! The Evil Puffballs (from THE INCREDIBLE HULK: CROSSROADS OF INFINITY story arc) manipulate Hector Hammond into revivifying the Dark Phoenix via Carol Ferris. As part of some convoluted revenge plot (against the X-men) by the N'garai. But, instead, initial intervention is by Hal Jordan and the Benevolent Puffballs (from TALES OF THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS)!
ReplyDeleteYou appear to have a sequel started. Dark Phoenix vs. Legion of Super-heroes and now the Green Lantern Corps. Any chance for a trilogy with both going against Dark Phoenix?
ReplyDeleteThere's only so much room on a single cover!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover, but there is no clever title blurb. May I humbly suggest:
ReplyDelete"'Beware MY Power!' Sayeth the Dark Phoenix"
Was this a continuation from the previous day's cover?*
ReplyDelete*X-men vs. DP
No
