It's been cool to see pulp heroes like The Shadow getting more attention in comics lately. I love the character and his period setting and have enjoyed his adventures in different media. The new comics look cool and I like how he has been crossing paths with other established characters. The Alec Baldwin film, while not perfect, is still a guilty pleasure of mine. But what I will mostly think of when it comes to The Shadow are his classic radio shows. I used to listen to those on cassette tapes as a kid, and I thought they were moody and cool.
v for vendetta meet v the aliens? or star trek vs aliens quasar and space ghost both use gauntlets
ReplyDeleteDidn't you already do this crossover, Ross?
ReplyDeleteNope, that was Dr. Fate/V
ReplyDeleteExcellent depiction!
ReplyDeleteHow about Spider-man vs. the Spider ("Master of Men")?
This and the Doc Fate crossover are aces in my book. I will never get tired of V for Vendetta crossovers (I have a V/Prez Rickard crossover that I commissioned once :D
ReplyDeleteHow about BTVS and Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Andeddu? Or, Vampirella and Shi vs. Jade?

ReplyDeleteNicely done. How about the Shadow meets the Phantom Stranger? I've tried doing this in Photoshop, and it's tougher than it looks.

Hawkman/DD is an odd but cool team up - I paired them together as part of issue #900. Phantom Stranger/Shadow definitely has some possibilities.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever done a Phantom Stranger/Watcher team-up? I've always wanted to see those two confront each other and annoyingly not tell each other stuff.
ReplyDeleteYup, that one's in here.
