Time for another all-Mignola cover. I remember being impressed by his artwork on various Marvel titles and the
Phantom Stranger mini-series in which he collaborated with P. Craig Russell. It was
Gotham by Gaslight, however, that really turned me into a fan. His use of light and shadow was a perfect for for this turn of the century Batman, and it was a great comic reading experience. I followed him to
Hellboy, and it was great to really get to see him cut loose on his signature series.
Yeah, I could see a mistaken-identity slugfest between these two. Especially, if Shadow King were pulling Mesmero's strings!
