Mars Attacks! led by Marvin the Martian

Look, if your goal  is to annihilate humankind, you might as well  be enthusiastic in your work, and that's why I imagine an issue featuring these characters would be a lot of fun.  The destruction of Earth is a morbid plan, but if presented through the point of view of the would be conquerors, I have to admit it would probably be an engaging read.

  2. This has lots of potential for gratuitous, insanely dark comedy. Yes, it would be a fantastic read, and I'd certainly buy this issue.

(Artistically, I don't think the effect of Marvin standing on the other Martian's head even comes close to working, though the matching pointing gesture makes a good synchronicity for the moment you have in mind.)

I could see this being repelled by John Carter and the Martian Manhunter (a pairing that has happened here, but yearns to be revisited).

  9. Duck Dodgers no doubt saved the day by detonating an explosive space modulator (with a pew-ranium-38 payload) within Marvin's base camp.
