Shazam finally seems to be coming to the movies, after more than a decade of rumors, in Nikki Finke's leaked list of upcoming DC Comics films is to be believed. I think that if handled correctly, it could be a ton of fun. Hopefully it will be a contrast from all of the grim superhero films we have seen and include a sense of whimsy along with the heroics, just as the best Marvel Family comics used to have.
I love the mix and all of the background, but wasn't it Dr. Thaddeus SIVANA? Fun cover, and I still love these mixes!

ReplyDeleteI love this cover -- and anything with the original, one true Captain Marvel -- but I'm confused by what's going on. Are the Marvels in League with the Sentinels? Is it a three-way fight? I ask because it looks like Cap is punching Wolverine, but then looks surprised that Storm's been hit by a spear that, judging from the action-lines, was thrown by Junior.
