A red union suit with a blue towel tied around it, topped off with signature head gear? These guys already looked like they were part of the same team anyway, so I decided to make it official! I'm not sure about how much crime they would actually prevent, but it would still be fun to see them all mix it up together.
Great team-up. I guess it shows my limited knowledge of DC, but when did the Red Tornado wear the outfit, I always thought he was an android.
ReplyDeleteThat's Ma Hunkel, the original Red Tornado (or Red Tomato) from the Justice Society and All-Star Comics.
ReplyDeleteI thought Ma Hunkel made a "comeback" in the most recent iteration of the JSA before it became The New 52 Earth-2. She was like the Jarvis for the JSA. Not the Jarvis from the movie, but the Jarvis from the comic...
ReplyDeleteSuper Goof! Boy, that takes me back. Great job assembling this awesome team.
ReplyDeleteHope you caught his team up with Dynomutt from a while back...
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see these guys together, but... no Captain Klutz???
ReplyDeleteStill, I love seeing Super Goof and the original Red Tornado at all, let alone together.
Had to look him up Bob, but you are right - he would have fit right in...
ReplyDeleteTuh Duh!
ReplyDeleteI was a big Super Goof fan growing up. It's good to see him back.
Ever thought about doing a Justice League with various funny animal super-types: SG, Underdog, Batfink, Atom Ant, Hong Kong Fooey... the possibilities are endless.
Maybe you could do a follow-up where Captain Klutz joins up. ;)
ReplyDelete@Matthew Baugh: Do you mean The JLA-- Justa Lotta Animals? Check out the Captain Carrot blog:
