A lot of people look upon the "Detroit Era" of the Justice League as a low point for the team, but There were definitely some parts that I liked about it. The best thing that it did was to bring Mari McCabe to a larger stage, allowing the obscure character that appeared with Superman a couple of times to find a new audience of fans. I was glad to see her included in future incarnations of the team and on the animated Justice League Unlimited.
