The Thing and Batman

I think the above cover says it all. As of today, The Brave and the Bold: The Lost Issues becomes Marvel Two-In-One: The Lost Issues! That's right, The great Ben Grimm will be taking on hosting duties for the next few months, while Bruce Wayne will take a much deserved breather. This does not mean that I am done with B&B covers by any means... I will still create new ones when inspiration strikes and they will eventually be posted on this blog. But for the immediate future, I hope you all enjoy the MTIO covers!

  2. Nice way to change things up a bit! I love the Thing and seeing him with a wide range of not-Marvel characters is going to be fun.

  5. Some requests I never got to with B&B will be fulfilled with MTIO. Plus now I am able to use characters that starred in the real world B&B run, which I had placed off limits. The shift in focus has definitely rejuvenated me.

  8. If, after the Thing, Batman ever needs another break, might I humbly suggest "DC Comics Presents: The Lost Issues" with Superman and whoever he might not have teamed up with.

  10. Some suggestions here have already been completed and are just waiting to be posted.

I did think of both DCCP and Marvel Team-Up, but Superman and Spider-Man aren't as close to my heart as Batman or the Thing, so those two had to come first. Superman especially would be hard to do because of his asymetrical "S" shield - with the other three characters at least I can reverse the images I use when necessary, and that helps a lot.

  11. Yay! MTIO was one of my favourite comics when I was growing up - especially the Pegasus Project issues. I'm looking forward to this!

  13. It's probably the best way Batman could think of to apologize for having to "kill" Ben in front of Alicia.
