Iron Man and The Justice League of America
I always wondered about the decision to put the Justice League in a cave as their first headquarters. I mean, that kind of locale made sense for batman, given his motif and its location under his mansion, but a gathering of the greatest superheroes on earth seemed to demand something a bit less rustic. I found the satellite to be a much more suitable gathering place (and I still miss it).

The Spectre Vs. The Punisher
This is a match up I would love to see, even if it might only last seconds! I can see Jim Corrigan and Frank Castle knowing each other early in life and then having a confrontation after they had taken on their costumed personas. The Spectre would want to make him pay for his actions, but I am sure that The Punisher would call him on his hypocrisy.

Superboy and She-Hulk
OK, let me try to get this straight.... The Bruce Banner Hulk has been killed off but there's a new "totally awesome" Hulk in Amadeus Cho, and meanwhile Jennifer Walters is now angry and brooding and goes by simply The Hulk now as well. Plus I think there are still "Red" versions of these characters running around. Comics have gotten weird.
You can't really blame them for having new rules at Gamma House, considering what happened when the Teen Titans met another Hulk there...

Legion of Super-Heroes and Judge Dredd
The elimination of Superman's time as Superboy following Crisis on Infinite Earths really threw a monkey wrench into the Legion of Superheroes. Attempts to fix it by using Kon-El, Pocket Universe Superboy or Supergirl in his place have never seemed to stick, and the LSH are currently in limbo. Let's hope that they can find a way to click with audiences when they inevitably return.

Jonah Hex and Red Wolf
We have seen a couple of versions of Jonah Hex on the big and small screen, with varying degrees of success, and I am sure we will again at some point down the line. How cool would it have been to have seen a live action Hex back in the day though? I can imagine Clint Eastwood in his prime taking on the role,

Commander Riker Vs. Darth Vader
I never really got the debate about which was better, Star Wars or Star Trek, because I loved both franchises as a kid. For me the differences in them were less about the types of technology they used or the mythology they followed, rather it was how the stories were presented. Star Wars seemed to follow the Western mode, with characters weaving in and out of an epic tale. Star Trek felt more like a police procedural show, always beginning every story from a set location and having the characters deal with outside influences.

Nighthawk and The Flash
The Flash just had its third season premier and it throughly entertained me. I was impressed how the writers were able to use the Flashpoint concept and it made for a cool story with a very interesting twist at the end of the hour. It was a blast to see The Flash and Kid Flash in action side by side - and the tease of Dr. Alchemy has me looking forward to future episodes.

Tron and Doctor Who
The Daleks have always been among my favorite science fiction menaces. They are as evil as they are cheap looking and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was glad that when Doctor Who was brought back to TV, the Daleks were not given much of an upgrade in appearance, honoring the early episodes.

Baymax and The Iron Giant
Big Hero Six was a pleasant surprise for me. I was only slightly aware of the comic, and the movie looked like it was a fairly loose adaptation anyway, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I found it to be a ton of fun and I loved the humor and heart that the animators were able to put into Baymax. Plus, there's a great Stan lee cameo!

Swamp Thing and Daredevil in "Spawn of Ivo!"
I am curious as to how Swamp Thing will be realized visually in Doug Liman's upcoming Justice League Dark movie. I assume they will not have a man in a rubber suit like in his previous live action efforts - but will he be fully computer generated or a CGI/practical makeup hybrid? Then comes the question of who will provide his voice an performance capture.
Swamp Thing and Daredevil first crossed paths in STF #785...

Wonder Woman Marries Captain America
I was thinking - I've done over a dozen covers so far chronicling the romance of Wonder Woman and Captain America - but I never actually showed their wedding day. Nothing to do about that situation except to rectify it, so here you go! Now this would truly be the marriage of the century.

Static and Storm in: "Jump Start My Heart!"
I am glad to hear that Static and the other Milestone characters will get another shot, as Milestone Media is gearing up for a relaunch. I was a fan of the character in comics as well as animation and still think that he, Icon, Hardware and the rest of the heroes from Mileston have a lot of potential.

Deathstroke Vs. The Hulk
It has been announced that Joe Manganiello has been tapped to play Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's upcoming solo Batman film, and may appear in Justice League before that. I think he is a great choice for the role but I must say I am surprised that the Slade Wilson will be used for those films as I have always considered him a New Teen Titans villain first and foremost. I guess they didn't want to wait that long to use him. Oh well, there's still the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated film to look forward to.

Dr. Fate and Brother Voodoo
Brother Voodoo was a third-tier character and even considered kind of a joke for a long time. I was never sure why, I always thought he had a cool look and I liked the connection to his departed sibling. Fortunately he has gotten much more of a push in the lat decade or so, and It's cool to see him finally getting the respect he deserves in the Marvel Universe.

Vampirella Vs. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
One fun thing that comics offer is the ability to follow the continuing adventures of characters that only had a finite life in TV or movies. It first started with properties like Star Trek and Star Wars and these days we have comic series presenting new "seasons" of fan favorite shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Smallville. Even cooler, classic series like Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 are getting the treatment.

Red Tornado and ROM in "Sleeper Code!"
I am glad to see that ROM is finally returned to comics with his new home at IDW. I always thought is was such a shame that he remained in comic book limbo for so long. I like the modern update to his design as well, I'll miss being able to poke fun at his metallic mittens, though.

Batman and Spider-Man in "Rigged Rides!"
I just picked up the entire run of Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Blu-Ray and I am having a blast re-visiting the episodes. The love for DC comics history is very evident, and I keep noticing new references and easter eggs that I missed the first (or second) time around.
Batman and Spider-Man have a bit of history on STF: The Lost Issues...
The Batman/Spidey movie premiered in STF #1014
Spidey and JJJ joined forces against Batman in Issue #937...
They were joined by some Amazing Friends in back in October 2011...
The shared a Golden Age adventure in September 2011...
Spidey wore his black outfit for their July 2010 meeting...
And here is where they first crossed paths.
This isn't the only time The Spider-Buggy has seen action, either...

Superman and The Rocketeer
Much has been speculated about how Superman will appear once he returns from the dead in Justice League. Will he have the all black costume from the comics, Will he have a beard? A mullet? At any rate, once he ultimately re-dons his classic duds, I hope we see a few changes to reflect the DCEU's proposed less somber tone - brighter colors, an "S" on the cape and a spit curl would be great to see.

Justice League of America Vs. The Dark Phoenix in: "Burn Notice!"
I'm wondering what sort of headquarters the cinematic Justice League will end up having. I assume it will be a Bruce Wayne-funded establishment - but will it be hidden in a cave or public in a Hall of Justice? I'd love to see a satellite, but that would mean introducing teleportation tech to the DCEU... although with Mother Boxes and Boom Tubes in existence, is it really that much of a leap?
The Justice League has faced off against The Dark Phoenix in the past - first in STF #229, and then again in STF #409...

Captain Kirk and Starfire
Kirk has no problem pursuing beautiful alien females, so I figure that he would jump at the opportunity to join forces with Koriand'r. He might be in for more than he bargained for though, this is no Orion Slave Girl... the princess from Tamaran in more than capable of taking care of herself. It would be interesting to see how Kirk relates to her.
