She became a recurring character in "Captain Atom" and then "Extreme Justice". After that she disappeared for almost a decade, but she came back after "Infinite Crisis". She was one of a jillion characters who appeared in the weekly series "52" and since most of that series was meant to explain what went on between the end of "Infinite Crisis" and the beginning of the "One Year After" stories, I'm guessing you'll find her somewhere between mid-2006 and mid-2007 but I couldn't tell you where. It wasn't in "Brave and The Bold", "Shadowpact" or the Spectre tie-ins. I wasn't reading much else from DC after that.pblfsdahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07471473189061385119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-23193643192828984432013-09-26T15:53:53.190-04:002013-09-26T15:53:53.190-04:00Anon -- I don't think you're thinking of t...Anon -- I don't think you're thinking of the same character that I am, considering that Nighthawk (from Champions) was created in 2005.Bob Greenwadehttp://lulu.com/spotlight/bobgreenwadenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-4293904402840045302013-09-26T15:39:13.496-04:002013-09-26T15:39:13.496-04:00This is great! Both Jay and Carter got their girl back in the day. I'm pretty sure that Carter and Shiera were the "first" hero couple. As reincarnated Egyptian Pharaoh and Queen. So they were also the first hero couple of "race" as well.

It's disappointing that this new reboot has eliminated marriage completely.

But, I rant. This is an awesome cover. She was a beautiful creation that DC left by the wayside like so many other heroes. sigh. Oh well, maybe its just me being nostalgic for the early 1990s.
