A new effort with (say) Adam Rodriguez would be great.

A nice team-up, by the way; if there's a modern superhero who would be "at home" in a pulp story, it's Hawkman.Bob Greenwadehttp://lulu.com/spotlight/bobgreenwadenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-80808541433826640362012-11-06T11:37:07.336-05:002012-11-06T11:37:07.336-05:00Rats, I didn't even think to do a presidential...Rats, I didn't even think to do a presidential themed cover...Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02456766784122686858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-71999664890409203482012-11-06T09:00:56.562-05:002012-11-06T09:00:56.562-05:00Two characters I've written on a great cover. ...Two characters I've written on a great cover. That's a great cover!
Too bad great...Dave sez,

That's a great cover!
Too bad great characters can't generate great box office. Alec Baldwin was good as The Shadow, Billy Zane was decent as The Phantom, the guy from Battleship and Wolverine was great as John Carter, but the movies just didn't catch on for some reason...Flash Gordon was too campy, The Green Hornet was too Seth Rogan...hopefully this new Lone Ranger film will forever erase the Clinton Spillsbury debacle...Cathy and Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10176787538314011376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-62593535461203714982012-11-05T20:13:05.970-05:002012-11-05T20:13:05.970-05:00Great name, and great look! Ron Ely made a good Doc (and was an especially appropriate choice given his earlier role as Tarzan and Philip Jose Farmer's writings which show that the two heroes were in fact related). The film has its flaws but it has gone on to become a bona fide cult classic and is currently available on DVD through the Warner Archives collection.John Smallhttp://bardofthelesserboulevards.yolasite.com/noreply@blogger.com
