I echo the sentiment of every bad review. I hope the next Son of Batman release washes the bad taste out of my mouth! I've also been re-reading Dini and Ross' series of over-sized graphic novels. I really enjoy "Liberty and Justice" and the "Justice" series. It's a shame that DC went in the opposite direction from that.

AirDavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12888950508297936735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-82533607927874312992014-02-15T17:02:57.407-05:002014-02-15T17:02:57.407-05:00I've said this before, but since the passing o...I've said this before, but since the passing of Dwayne McDuffie(RIP), DC animation truly fell off. I have not enjoyed anything that they have since put out. Its all been so subpar. Truly, McDuffie was the heart and soul of the animation division.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730409500376659257.post-12989363528616563382014-02-15T12:30:33.867-05:002014-02-15T12:30:33.867-05:00I haven't seen the animated version, but I rea...I haven't seen the animated version, but I read the first full arc of the New 52 JLA, and I agree with everything you said. I've been a JLA fan since the Silver Age, and followed the team through good times and bad (except for JLA Detroit, which was awful), but for me the new version read like bad fan fiction.
