The Creeper is one DC character that I have never expected to show up in live action. With James Gunn's interest in obscure and offbeat comic book characters, maybe he has a chance to eventually leap to the big screen at some point. That all depends on the strength of the DCU, which has yet to have a huge hit yet. Hopefully Man of Tomorrow will turn things around.
I love the allusion to Heath Ledger's penultimate iconic line! And a James Gunn-directed Creeper flick might be interesting. Not so much if it wound being directed by James Watkins and/or Terry Phillips.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I could've sworn we were being blessed with a double dose of Ditko. Ah, well. It's still a great blending. Thanks for sharing this with us, Ross.
ReplyDeleteWow. Great pairing. Id but this now. Hey for future covers…. How about Jean Grey vs Power Girl or USAgent vs Super-Patriot from Freak Force? Thanks for all you do.

ReplyDeleteThat's what people thought about Superman (2025).
... and Supergirl this summer...
... and the recent Clayface...
Things are not looking too good in the movie dept 😔
