These are two no-nonsense heroes that like to get right to the job at hand. There might not be a lot of witty banter in this issue, but the action would probably make up for it.

Given the complete lack of word balloons on the cover, this would be a grim and gritty tale, indeed. Even Judge Dredd would've had a quip for the Basement Dwellers! Something along the lines of: "I find you guilty of illegal squatting. BLAM!"

DeletePersonally, I am still hoping for a Deathlok and Amazing Man team up. The character that was weirdly simila to Robocopr... right down to being from Detroit... but showed up over 10 years earlier.
ReplyDeleteA nice nod to Arvell Jones, who drew Amazing Man more than anyone else, being friends with Deatlok creator Rich Buckler before entering the industry.
How about a mistaken identity slugfest between Will Everett and John Aman? "Battle Of The Amazing Men!"
