Could Crusher Creel truly adopt the properties of Wonder Woman's magic lasso? I think that's an interesting enough set up to build a story around.

DeleteOn a more serious note, would his absorbing the lasso's properties compel him to speak the truth? If so, then presumably him believing that Wonder Woman's advantage is gone is enough to meet that requirement.
That's a very provocative question, Ross. One that probably has a lot of Deviantartists already meditating on how to visually answer it.
ReplyDeleteBack to seriousness, though. That's a vaguely familiar action-pose for Wonder Woman. Is it from when she fought the Parasite in Marvel Treasury Edition #28 (the second-ever Superman/Spidey team-up)?

DeleteI seem to recall an issue of Thor where Creel was overwhelmed after absorbing the power of Odin's scepter. While I don't think he'd be that overwhelmed by the Lasso, I do think he'd be able to absorb its properties.

Since Absorbing Man's powers are derived from Asgardian magic, if he donned Rainbow Raider's spectroscopic goggles, would he able to combine the two abilities in order to access Asgard via Bifrost?
