P.S.---I know you probably have STF #5200 all fleshed out. So, how about a suggestion for twenty-five issues afterward? A sequel to STF #5050 that also guest-stars Dr. Doom...and Dr. Double-X! After all, even the In-Betweener is one-up on Simon Ecks in appearances, here. And, if nothing else, "5225" is a numeric palindrome. Two-Face, alone, would/should find that mathematically irresistible!
Anon@11:23 has a decent point about #5225, though to me it seems more like something that might involve Mirror Master rather than Two-Face. And given that the number 52 has become nigh-synonymous with DC's attempts at rewriting the universe, may MM's been recruited as a minion of Thanos.
So the Phantom Stranger finally has a sidekick of his own. But who is the guy on the right of the picture - and why is he shaking his fist at poor Ben Grimm? Is it because he thinks Ben's hat is actually more stylish than either his own or the Stranger's?
@Tobor: exactly! H.E.R.B.I.E. had to be dismantled because it became the new host body for the A.I. called Worldwide Habitual Offenders discourtesy of...The Construct!
@Anon711: the Construct last tangled with the FF @ STF #4487 (July of two years ago). So, your guess could be half-right. But, W.H.O. was a Spidey and DD foe. So, unless Matt Murdock is going to get involved via defending the FF in a civil suit, I think it's more likely that Det. Tobor was hinting at some Doctor Who foe. Like the Cybermen, for instance?
H.E.R.B.I.E. has been possessed by the demonic malware M.E.P.H.I.S.T.O. ;)
ReplyDeleteOr maybe it's really been Agatha Harkness, all along? ;-)
DeleteTo Carycomic's point, Agatha Harkness may have to be called in to perform an exorcism to purify the Baxter Building.
ReplyDeleteThat's assuming she's not behind the bewitching in the first place.

DeleteA haunted apartment building in Manhattan? If there’s a sequel to this, I think we all know who you’re gonna call!
ReplyDeleteHow about Godzilla vs. Gozer? Anyone for toasted marshmallows?
DeleteAnd, no, STF #1190 from July of eleven years ago doesn't count.

ReplyDeleteMaybe. Or maybe he's just an investigative reporter named Walt Whitney. Alias...Bob Phantom!
DeleteIs there any thing special in the suitcases? P.S. not helping to clear the problem? Something odd is definitely going on...involving WHO??

DeleteHow about Timber Wolf facing off against Sabertooth?
ReplyDeleteBrin for the win.
