Skyrocket and Ms. Marvel

I'm glad to use Skyrocket on this blog again, one of DC's hidden gems.  Hopefully they will take her off the shelf and find a new place to feature her.  Power Company was a fun comic and it's too bad that it didn't stick around longer.

  1. I know what you mean, Ross. I, myself, had hoped to see an intercompany crossover in which Rebecca "Witchfire" Carstairs got to team up with her Alpha Flight namesake! Oh, well. Maybe some day you'll be able to correct their oversight.

As for today's cover? I'm initially tempted to say that this evidently occurs between Carol Danvers' nomenclatural transition from Binary to Warbird. So, I'll guess the third party being referred to, here, might be someone in the Kree government secretly opposed to the first war between them and the Shi'ar!

But, who might that be? Someone in the Vell family, perhaps? Ross only knows!

  2. What?! No third day of tributes to Al Milgrom? Too bad/so sad. :-(

  3. Skyrocket seems like she'd be a good fit for a team-up with two other Marvel heroines, for different reasons: Photon and Ironheart.

  5. Only six prior comments all day, yesterday? Everybody else must've been shopping for the upcoming holiday weekend.

  6. So, is SHIELD back to being an international (UN?) agency rather than a US one? Marvel seemed to go backwards & forwards on that point...
