This is a story I could see happening, given the reincarnation aspect to Hawkgirl's back story Having it illustrated by a master of the craft like Paul Smith would only make it better!

ReplyDeleteI don't think so. A time-traveling Superman once met the Silent Knight! But, that was about 25 years or so back. With the implication being that Sir Brian of Kent was the distant progenitor of the Kents of Kansas.
DeleteOne thing about creatives bouncing back and forth between Marvel and DC is that it give you the chance to use work by the same artist to display characters from the two different companies. Always nice.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the Black Knight in this image, at least when I initially looked at it, seemed less to me like the Marvel version than the Monty Python version. It'd be interesting to see those two meet, somehow....
