Two-Face and The In-Betweener
I had to come up with a fitting pairing for STF #5050, and my favorite villain Two-Face was a natural fit. I noticed that The In-Betweener had a similar fashion sense and the cover came together from there.
Second best pairing would've been Libra (founder of the Late Silver Age Injustice Gang) and Gemini (aka the Link Brothers from the original Marvel Zodiac).
There was the Two Face that wasn't Harvey Dent. He was burned on the other side of the face. Get him involved to confuse things. In his case, I think it was a Villain/Villian thing where artists would sometimes get it backwards and that provided DC with an easy out.
two, too cool Ross.....
ReplyDeleteyou've done it again.....
happy fifty-fifty......
This actually made me laugh out loud. ;) Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThere's no two ways about it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!!!!!!
Thanks for brightening my day, Ross. And have a Happy Quinquamillenial Anniversary fifty times over! :-)
Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't think of a more ideal pairing for #5050.

Deleteor that Libra and the Libra from Marvel's Zodiac?
DeleteOr Two-Face and the Dick Tracy villain, Haf-and-Haf
Delete@Simreeve: Or, better yet, a fight _between_ the two Libras over trademark infringement?
DeleteI like that idea.
Deletetoo bad the In-betweener found his opposite number but had to learn the differences.
ReplyDeleteAll you need now if Lokai and Bele from "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield".
ReplyDeleteOr Bele vs. the Riddler '66?
ReplyDeleteI second that last motion (to be perfectly Frank).
