It's too bad we never saw Starro the Conquerer on the Saturday morning cartoons back in the day. I think he would have fit right in in The Super-Friends.

DeleteActually, Ross, viewers came pretty close back in 1967/68 with the Superman-Aquaman Hour of Adventure on CBS. One of the Aqua-episodes had the Sea King taking on an undersea pirate named Capt. Barracuda* who rode a giant starfish called Starro!

ReplyDeleteGood question! Dr. Doom has canonically proven he can siphon off the Silver Surfer's power cosmic. He's also demonstrated mastery of that Ovoid version of astral projection/transmigration. Even though Norrin Radd, himself, has stated (@ STF #4785 from last May 20th) that he's immune to possession! So, how would the not-so-good doctor exploit the Surfer's gifts this time around (in order to repel Starro for the sake of Latveria?)
