Bloodstone Vs. Swamp Thing
I haven't read much of Bloodstone, but I know he would track down all kinds of creatures. I can see him setting his sights on a transformed Alec Holland.
Even for a 1970's Marvel character, though, he seems to be unduly rushing to judgement. I have to surmise that he must've had a "Heap" of previous trouble with another plant-elemental.
@Det. Tobor: the rifle doubtlessly shoots tranquilizer darts laced with weed-killer. And the machete's purpose is equally easy to guess (for those of us who grew up watching low-budget safari adventure movies on TV)!

ReplyDeleteI don't know if that's the root of his problem tho.And would a real weapon cause Alex to soil himself? I think knot!

DeleteFor some reason now I wonder of Alex Holland is related to Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider Man in the MCU.
ReplyDeleteNice cover, but I was hoping we'd get that love/hate battle between Jack Of Hears and Cupid for Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteYeah, for Valentine's Day I was kinda hoping for the Power Couple, or maybe Cap/WW. Or maybe something involving Starfox.
ReplyDeleteSame!
DeleteSo, none of you will settle for Ulysses Bloodstone cutting out Swamp Thing's heart-of-lettuce?
ReplyDeleteI'd be willing to compromise on settling for a prequel on Arbor Day depicting Bloodstone vs. the Ivy League.*
Delete*Not seen here since STF #3330!
As far as Ross is concerned there are only two holidays, Halloween and Christmas.
ReplyDeleteNow, now; let's be fair! He's done some pretty good 4th of July depictions, too.
Deletethis needs a follow up with the daughters of both: Tefe and Elsa
ReplyDeletePreferably on Fathers' Day!
DeleteI second that emotion.
