Vigilante Vs. Howard The Duck
There was a lot of clutter removal and image extension required on this Howard the Duck splash page before I could add Vigilante into the mix. Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:
If they could get a handle on the uncanny valley aspect (Polar Express still creeps me out) like they did with the modernized Rocket Racoon, I would love to see a live action/CGI version of this or most of the original Howard series, so long as it was done faithful to both that style and characterization. An animation hybrid like Roger Rabbit wouldn't be too bad either.
I remember this issue! Spidey and HTD vs. Status Quo.
ReplyDeleteGood research, Ross. And nicely edited. :-)
I suppose if Archie can meet the Punisher...
ReplyDeleteNot Status Quo the UK rock band I assume
ReplyDeleteThat is correct.
DeleteImagining the live-action versions of these characters makes it so much more hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLike, say, starring Nicholas Hammond, Chip Zien, and Ed Gale?
Delete@Carycomic: I was thinking more like Toby Maguire, Seth Green, and Sean Gunn.
DeleteI was actually thinking Freddie Stroma from the Peacemaker show.
DeleteI thought Stroma was the writer/producer/director of all those Toxic Avenger movies.
