Liberty Belle and Union Jack
I always liked reading about these two wartime heroes, even if they never quite hit the A-list. They look great too - Union Jack's has a vary cool outfit and Libby Lawrence wears her jodhpurs well.
I'd love to see a sequel where Liberty Belle teams up with the Golden Age Destroyer. The latter was originally supposed to be an American war correspondent named Keen Marlow. But, THE INVADERS ret-conned that into an alias used by Spitfire's brother (who was working undercover for British Military Intelligence, if I recall correctly). A few issues later, the Destroyer identity was assumed by the formerly shrunken Crusader known as Dyna-Mite (now resumed to normal size).
This would be an excellent team-up.
ReplyDeleteYou need to do their speedster teammates Johnny Quick and Spitfire.
ReplyDeleteHe already did. See STF #4429 (May 29 of last year).
DeleteThe PATRIOTS are up and going for a RUN! Listen to that ROAR!! Are the bases and the o-u-t-f-i-e-l-d covered?? We're about to find out!! What a team!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Great pairing!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I really want to see Uncle Sam beating the crap out of Kingpin.
ReplyDeleteI'd shell out sixty cents for that! :-)
DeleteBelle looks like she could partner with Falcon as she is posed.
ReplyDeletea different kind of request....Odin and ..Judge Dredd!!! (he just doesn't get out much)
ReplyDeleteAnd I got just the enemies for them: Hela and Judge Death!
DeleteRoy Thomas probably would have liked to write this story.
