The Micronauts and Nightwing & Flamebird

This is just the kind of crazy circumstance that I would expect to see  in a story about The Bottle City of Kandor.  I'd think The Micronauts would be right at home there, there must be a good reason that they want out.

  1. My first guess would be some kind of b.t.s. alliance between Brainiac and Baron Karza. One question, though; is this the Kal-El/Jimmy Olsen version of Kandor's Dynamic Duo?

    1. Maybe the Enigma Force teleported them via the Phantom Zone?

  4. I never did like Nightwing and Flamebird from the Silver Age but I did like their update during the New Krypton storyline. Micronants is always a welcome from me.

    1. We couldn't have gotten Van-Zee and Ak-Var without Kal-El and Jimmy O, first.

  5. Also I wonder if this has something to do with their last appearance meeting the Legion.

    1. Probably. If they traveled to the 31st century via the Microverse (and Alpheus Hyatt's Time Pool @ Ivytown University), it makes sense that they tried returning home the same way. Only for the Enigma Force to reroute them for some reason!

  7. Even though it's a bottled city on Earth, Superman had Kandor with Krypton's gravity. I wonder how the Micronauts dealt with the difference? Jimmy had a rocket belt and other things to help an Earthling.

    1. Arcturus Rann had the flight pack that earned him the name "Space Glider."

  8. Now, if only we could get fulfillment of Bob Greenwade's second-dearest wish (Phantom Stranger vs. Ghost Rider).
