The IMProbables in: "Quarreling With Q!"

I wondered who could be a foil for a team as powerful as The IMProbables, and then it dawned on me.  Q has been long overdue for an appearance on this blog, and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to use him.  This issue would be 22 pages of pure chaos!

  1. Interesting look for Q! Was that from a cameo on "The Simpsons" or "Futurama"?

    1. Neither, it's from Star Trek: Lower Decks

    2. Can't say I've ever heard of it. Must be one of those "streaming-only" spin-offs. More's the pity.

    3. @Cary: tell me about it! The Internet seems to be getting more and more anti-non-member-lurker, everyday. :-(

    4. Yeah, were definitely going through a programming shift. But I guess people went through something similar when shows started going to television instead of radio, as they had done before. There were probably radio loyalists that weren't happy then, right?

    5. @carycomic There's a couple of series from IDW out now, including an ongoing, but yes, it's based on an animated streaming series, though I can't remember which service.

    6. @BenW: But neither radio nor regular TV required separate applications for membership with a different password required for each one. Passwords you get hounded to verify once every two weeks, it seems like!

    1. Wait! Q's first appearance on STF? So, probably not...
Has Q ever met Sherlock Holmes?

  3. How about Gazoo meeting Banjo from Banjo-Kazooie? Banjo-Gazooie? LOL!

    1. Or, failing that, Banjo-Kazooie joining the Angry Birds?

  6. Didn't Martian Manhunter have a mystical sidekick for a while?

    1. Zook wasn't mystical. He was a little critter from another dimension who had temperature-changing powers.

    2. You might be thinking of Aquaman and Kwsp.

  7. H.H. HORSEFEATHERS to the sidelines. Lower deck was an animated S T spinoff that kept spinning and produced two live guests on Strange New World. Or are you going to say you don't know Pike's peek into his future? Peter David just passed. Did some great novel thinkings.

  8. I literally don't know Pike's peek into his future.

  9. How about Q meeting James Bond? Also, how about the group of Imps include the Fairy Godparents?

  10. I have often wondered if Q could deal with Endora from Bewitched, and whether or not the so-called witches from Bewitched were just members of the Q Continuum.

  11. Boy have you guys been busy. So green with envy. I think, Anon 8;06, that this Capt Pike has seen some of his future as it spooled out on the original Menagerie episodes of the first Star Trek.
When is a witch not a witch? When she's a homo superior with mutant abilities far beyond those of mortal people! Or, an alien!! Samantha meet Gazoo!

  12. Wasn't that more of a fishing expedition than a peek?
