Charles Shulz and Peanuts were highlight of reading the comics pages, and Marcie wore glasses like me, and Velma wore glasses like me! What a team up and Sergio's art was always a highlight reading comics!

ReplyDeleteThe reason I think of the Goonies is that several cast members are guests for a Goonies reunion at Rose City Comic Con this year. It occurred to me to check to see if there ever had been a comics rendition, which there had been, and that only left who they should be paired with. Then I saw this, and I knew -- what better place to send them?
And, if they can't be the ones to explore it, how about Indiana Jones?
