Green Goblin Vs. The Suicide Squad

Norman Osborne eventually tried using villains to form his own Dark Avengers team, so it's not much of a stretch to think that he might have tried that stunt with the members of the Suicide Squad first. It would be a cool tale to see play out.

  1. YES!!! Thank you, Ross. This is a long-overdue match-up, indeed.

  2. Next, the Green Goblin vs. Amanda Waller? Perhaps adapting the Waller/Batman cover from an early issue of Suicide Squad?

Who's that just leaving the helicopter? I can't see hem well enough to make an identification...

  3. simreeve - That's Multiplex, the Duplicate man, one of Firestorm's early adversaries.

  4. Now, if only we could get GG to meet up with Eclipso.

  5. Anonymous that would be overkill ! as Eclipso is in the same league as the Spectre…
i do like the idea of The Goblin vs Waller though…

  6. Interesting matchup. Any chance of a Blue Beetle and Annex or Wasp and Hawkwoman teamup in the future?

  7. @Simon: I didn't mean as adversaries. I meant as allies. Maybe even as long-lost siblings!

Besides, if the Inferior Five can take on Galactus and live to tell about it...

  8. @Simon and Simreeve: Amanda vs. Osborn?!

As John "Cougar" Mellencamp might say: "The Wall gonna come tumblin' down."

  9. Maybe GG could take another approach, and recruit some villains from places other than Marvel/DC. Shredder, the Mauler Twins, and the Man-Eating Cow come to mind.

  10. Now do Amanda Waller v. the Thunderbolts

  11. @Cary: Maybe not. Remember, in her first appearance on this blog, Waller went face-to-face with the Hulk. In her second, she clocked Nick Fury. She clearly is very much Not To Be Messed With.

  12. I have a feeling that this isn't going to end well for Slipknot. Just a hunch.

  13. The squad would have gg running, he might think he could sway them but he
    cant compete
with wallers control or their craZy.

  14. Now This is a case for THE MAD HATTER!!Who, disguised as a mild mannered microchip, is able to fight for rot, rust, and raisinets. Actually, he's holding the fort down for Ambush Bug who is going to teach Norman what being CRAZY REALLY means!!

  15. @Tobor: You may be on to something there, with that last part. After all, Irwin Schwab is the only person ever to be kicked out of Arkham.

  16. Conversely, Gobby might just be leading them into an ambush. Discourtesy of the Joker's Wild! And I doubt even Ambush Bug and the Mad Matter can out-crazy Mr. J.

  17. @Cary, u sure about that? Irwin is the only one i know who can stop on a dime and would give 11¢ change.

  18. @Det. Tobor: most of which would probably consist of two wooden nickels. And if I rubbed them together, I'd get a fire twice as bright as he is!*

*Sorry. But, I'm not sorry that I've never been a big Ambush Bug fan. Literally, not since his debut in DC COMICS PRESENTS #52 (circa 1982)!
