Thunderbolts and Godzilla

The main reason I would like to see The Masters of Evil face off against The Avengers in a future movie is so that the seeds can be set for a Thunderbolts film.  I loved the series featuring villains disguised as heroes and how that charade changes each of them.  It has all the elements for a very compelling and different type of comic book flick.

I remember seeing Busiek's Thunderbolts on the stands. It was one of those titles that was just out of reach. I either didn't have the extra cash or interest for it. It looked pretty cool. It may have been around the time I was enjoying early issues of Astro City. And then when that reveal came, I thought, Well played.

I like that Civil War featured a plot by Zemo. So the Masters of Evil could probably work...

Pretty cool cover Ross, especially the way you inserted Godzilla so seamlessly into the globe like that. Nice!

That original run of the Thunderbolts, especially after the 1st issue reveal, was phenomenal. Too bad the recent relaunch isn't up to par....yet.

A Thunderbolts movie would be interesting....

They touched on the theme of heroism and redemption somewhat in the Suicide Squad film.

And speaking of the Suicide Squad, how cool would it be to see a Suicide Squad versus Thunderbolts cover?

Thanks for doing what you do, Ross.

Interesting choice for pairing!

I especially love the pose you gave Godzilla. Very Giger-esque.

Well, Eric Battle gave him that pose, i just used it.

Thanks, Sonofjack!

Re: S-Squad vs. T-Bolts -- It wouldn't make for a very dynamic cover, but I could see Waller and Zemo at a Starbucks talking over what a pain it is keeping their minions in line and proposing some trades (Harley for Moonstone? Boomerang for Fixer?)

Wow. While watching Suicide Squad this weekend, I actually thought a Thunderbolts movie would be cool.
Wow.

The original Thunderbolts look like they're the size of Silver Age Adam Warlock! Poor Godzilla doesn't stand a chance.
