Boba Fett saves The DC Universe

Of all of the proposed Star Wars movie spin-offs, I am most interested in where the producers will go with Boba Fett.  His back story is vague enough that they can go in many different directions.  Will they turn him into an anti-hero once he is the star of his own feature, or will he be able to maintain his villainous edge?  Will they hire a big name actor to portray Fett, ensuring minimal time in the helmet?  Only time will tell.

P.S---I know that spiel is usually done with an Australian accent. But, trying to simulate that in writing might get you falsely accused of fostering racism. ;-)

Boba Fett SAVES the DC Universe? Does he shoot Superboy/man Prime with a Kryptonite laser blast? :) Does he take the DC Editorial offices hostage? Snark intended as humor. My favorite comics were the Sergio Aragones Destroys The Marvel/DC Universe that came out a few years ago.

I've never been into the novels and Dark Horse Star Wars comics. But, now that my boy is into Star Wars, I may try to follow the Darth Vader comic I hear Marvel will be launching...

I recently discovered the Honor Harrington novels, and only just learned over this weekend that they've been adapted into comic format (at least the couple of volumes have been). So I've been contemplating who would be most appropriate to try to talk you into teaming her with, and Boba Fett seems to be just the ticket -- though Luke Skywalker or Han Solo would also be good.

(You probably have never heard of Honor Harrington, Ross; if I'm right about that, I think you owe it to yourself to read at least the first couple of novels.)

@ Air Dave: If (when, really) Disney forces Dark Horse to liquidate its Star Wars Omnibus titles (the thick little paperbacks), definitely scoop up as many as you can find. The biggest headache in following Star Wars comics after the mid-90's was that they were mostly mini-series with three or four subtitles and there would be several concurrent titles taking place in different centuries. In the last decade, Dark Horse made more of an effort to maintain ongoing titles, but some of the omnibuses organize the stray fragments that preceded that.

As for who should play Boba Fett in up coming films, the kid who played him as a child, briefly, in Episode 2 is now an adult providing his voice for animation. He was a child athlete, so he could still be in shape enough to move and act in a 20+ pound costume.
