The Brown Hornet, Spaceman Spiff and Marvin the Martian

I was a big Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids fan growing up, I even remember having a Fat Albert lunch box for a while.  I loved Bill Cosby's stand up comedy records and it was cool for me to see his childhood in animated form.  Of course, I thought it was cool when they introduced the show-within-a-show The Brown Hornet, adding a superhero element to the program.  I always thought that he could have had a life beyond the series, but I never saw anything from him after it went away.

Cool cover!
I bet The Brown Hornet would have been a better concept than Leonard: Part VI...

Absolutely Airdave, Cosby really missed the boat by overlooking the potential of rebooting The Brown Hornet! But the prime-time animation renaissance of Adult Swim/Family Guy/American Dad had not yet happened so I think NOW would be a great time to revive him. Many current comedians/actors have turned imitating Cosby's voice & mannerisms into thier bread and butter, so if Cosby himself couldn't provide the voiceover, there are plenty who can. Even a live-action Brown Hornet film is possible (using the Live-Action Scooby-Doo movies as a model). But as they say, its a miracle when a movie gets made in Hollywood, so who knows all the behind-the-scenes obstacles that exist preventing such a project from being made?
