Joker's Wild

I thought I would try my hand at a villainous team this time around.  What's more creepy than a clown?  I mean even real clowns are kind of creepy to me, so evil clowns are that much worse.  While this crew would certainly give any hero a run for their money, I imaging that there would be a lot of inter-team conflicts as well with so many crazy personalities.  That may undermine their effectiveness, but they would still be fun to read about.

  1. It's a pity I never got to publish my "Shadow Watcher" comic. His first and main nemesis, the vampire clown Mr. Gigglepuss, would have been an excellent addition to this team, and probably more appropriate than The Mask (who, I think, is technically a hero).

I don't recognize the two figures on the left, though. The lower one is a little familiar, but I can't quite place him.

  2. Clowns have always given me the creeps, and as a horror fan, that's what I love about them. The creepier the better, in my opinion. Pennywise should have his own genuine comic book miniseries, if you ask me, although I had never thought about it until now.

    Awesome concept.

  4. Trivia: Was The Joker the first clown villain in comics? That concept was groundbreaking.
